The Belgian artists Frank&Robbert Robbert&Frank have always worked extremely trans- and intermedially. Initially, they both come from the visual arts and continue to pursue a successful career there. A few years ago, they joined the Belgian theatre production platform CAMPO and developed two theatre performances there («To Break - The Window of Opportunity» and «Don't we deserve grand human projects that give us meaning» were both shown at auawirleben). The fact that they are now going one step further with the five-part long-term project «Table Dialogues» and also entering virtual space is probably the most logical extension of their practice.
In «Table Dialogues - Earth», two spectators at a time enter the universe of Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert. They embark on a course that is haptic and virtual at the same time and whose magic arises precisely from this dichotomy.

Besides their production «Table Dialogues - Earth» the two Belgian artists Robbert&Frank Frank&Robbert will be showing large murals Wandbilder made especially for Bern at the Festival Centre on Waisenhausplatz. Here, too, they are making the greatest possible crossover from cave painting to digital art. The exhibition is open from 10.5 to 15.5., between 11:30 and 20:00.

Frank&Robbert Robbert&Frank grew up together. They developed a strong sense for the symbolic and political power of images. Seeking the poetical rather than the provocative they create personal works that invite the viewer to take a closer look. Questioning the status of the artist, they continuously develop new methodologies for creating and showing their art. Trial and error, persistence and humour are key ingredient in their practice.
